Wedding Dress Project pt.1
Yesterday was gloomy so I decided to work on something happy.
Just as a warning to scotch, I'm not sure reading these posts will make you feel better or worse about giving me your wedding dress to re-arrange, so, read at your own discretion. So, I have been letting the dress hang on the dress form to let the wrinkles out. This is a fantastic dress and the person wearing it has to have an even more fantastic body to pull it off.

What I am intending to is take the beautiful ornamentation at the bottom and turn them into pillow cases and make the top into a mini dress.
Step 1: Pin out a hem line. there are a million and one different ways to execute this operation but only one I trust: eyeballing. seriously people! these are trained peepers!
The next step would be to lay it out and create a cutting line with chalk on the inside of the dress and then proceed with cutting and hemming. But then all of a sudden it was Beer and Risotto time. More later!
