i decided quoting the final four contestants in the IMBC would be a good way to start this post.
today was a good day, so what? i'll keep saying it if it's true. my day started with lunch. lunch with my friend Kara, her and i go to school together. yesterday was her 21st birthday and i guess she had a good time which is awesome because she has had a rash of bad birthday, much like myself. so i took her out to lunch today (with my last dime) and we went to fenton's creamery. it was pretty awful but it was good to see kara and talk to her about school and her new internship at tea collection (really spendy kids clothes). this is kara being silly.
Today there was a victory for common courtesy in my neighborhood. I don't know what it was about today; perhaps something in the air, but our neighborhood banded together and put a stop to the nusiance car alarm. i think i have talked about this car alarm before, it's on a crappy little car and it is apparently only set off by gum wrappers and imaginary friends. this eveing it went of 7-8 time in a 15 minute time period. i left a note, and so did two other people in the neighborhood. me putting the not on the car didn't make the alarm go off, i let the windshield wiper slap too! Not but an hour later i see the guy shuffling out there to move his car. i hope he never comes back! Bayo Vista hood FTW!!
Is it bad when you start catching yourself working on work at home? i caught myself doing it tonight! i was doing some online bra shopping and making a list of brands to consider for full figured women. I could have been getting paid! that's what made me stop. jebus i need monies! it's on the way i just have to wait till the end of the month.
I am in love with this artist... her name is audrey kawasaki and she makes really beautiful oil paintings on wood. her style is really soft and graphic with a touch of eroticism and surrealism. she will occasionally sell prints of her work and if you have the money and the luck you can get one! her last set of prints (3 different images 550 in total) went in less that 24 hours. She managed to make over $40,000 in less than 24 hours! that is an annual salary for most people. it takes me 24 hours to get $300. this is one of my favorites and one of the ones that sold out this week.
