monday 5/7
today it was back to the real world, well kinda. today was internship day. so i went and did specification packs all day long. and it was hot as hell in our tiny little office. every five minutes it was "oh my gawd it's hot", "it is sooo hot!". now don't get me wrong, i am the queen master in chief of complainers but come on! it was this hot yeterday, why are you surprised? sheesh ladies! any who i found myself getting bored with the spec. packs, i was staring out the door a lot and making chit chat. not a good sign. so i asked them what they thought of the fashion show and they were both nonplussed for the most part. lol and hanahh todd was no ones favorite....( only emily will get that ) my idle mind always seems to find gossip. *shrug* i burly care.
so now that i'm home i went and got all dolled up for bowling tonight. it's our "thank god school is out" party for work. mik is buying drinks so i'm all sorts of happy. i went for 50's bowling chic this evening, how do i look? like my grandmother i'm sure!
topic of the day:
Suppose you could resurrect a single famous person who lived in the last 200 years. Who would you choose?
if i had to pick a famous person it would be john lennon. i think that he had a lot more he could have done for the cultural movement. Imagine, a world where john lennon could still influence people and events. but he died along with the movement sadly. but if i didnt have to pick a famous person it would be one of my grandmothers or one of my great, or great-great grandmothers. i wasn't old enough to apereciate them when they were alive. i don't really know a whole lot about their lives before i was born. if they were here now i would take full advantage and bring a tape recorder to all of our visits so i could transcribe their stories later and save them for my sisters daughter or my daughters.
